Looking for a fresh start in digital marketing and advertising

This is me
Memphis native & graduate from the University of Mississippi's Integrated Marketing Communications program. While pursuing my degree, I worked for The Black Sheep, a national college media and marketing company. Starting as a Social Media Manager, my job was to be the face of the brand and produce funny, relatable, Ole miss-centric content for my audience. My "job" didn't feel like work at all because I loved what I was doing every day. I was quickly promoted to Chief Campus Editor to brainstorm and oversee all content. Our brand gained such recognition that third party companies in Oxford began to advertise digitally and traditionally with us and I was humbly head of the charge. Since then, I've pursued the insurance industry. While the sales criteria has been challenging yet rewarding, the experience I've gained through content creation and marketing has been all more fruitful. It's now my dream to find a media company I can call home. I believe I can offer a fresh approach and know I'll enjoy the process of collaborating with talented people to create something bigger. Like my high school keyboarding class teacher once told me, "If you love what you do, you never work a day in your life."

This is my most recent attempt at a major guerrilla marketing strategy. My work number was on the back and I actually made it on College Gameday garnering about 10 minutes of screen-time. This lead to over 100 calls and texts but unfortunately, no one needed health insurance... they just wanted to see if that number would actually get them somewhere.
Trial and error.
More about me
When I'm not busy helping people find insurance, I enjoy: surfing social media (Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat mostly), Netflexin' (Community, Documentaries, and 7th spins of The Office), grabbing drinks with friends (not as much since COVID hit), playing pickup basketball (play mostly the 2 and crash the boards), attempting golf (no one's good), learning the guitar (quarantine hobby, practices via youtube), and playing Xbox (so we can win at something).
My dad took this from home. Turns out all you need is 3 minutes of fame to have people calling your name.
